Setup Guide
Set Up IPTV on Smart TV
Samsung and LG smart TVs support IPTV player apps from their respective app stores. This guide covers installing a player and connecting it with your Strong 8K IPTV credentials.
What you need
- A Samsung (Tizen) or LG (webOS) smart TV connected to the internet
- An active Strong 8K IPTV subscription (credentials arrive by email)
- Your TV's app store access
Step-by-step setup
Install a player app
Open your TV's app store and install a compatible IPTV player available for both Tizen and webOS.
Note the device details
When you open the app, it typically shows a device key or MAC address. You will use these on the app's activation website.
Activate and add your playlist
Using a phone or computer, follow the app's on-screen instructions to register your device and add the playlist or Xtream details from your delivery email.
Restart the app
Reopen the app on your TV. Your channel list and on-demand catalogue should now be available.
Configuration tips
Some player apps on smart TVs are paid apps with a free trial period — the app itself will tell you if activation is required. Playlist and account settings are usually managed through the app's web portal or the TV app's settings screen.
Troubleshooting
The player app is not available in my region's store
Try an alternative IPTV player from your TV's app store, or use a Firestick/Android device connected to the TV instead.
Playlist does not appear after adding it
Fully close and reopen the app, and double-check that the device key you entered on the portal matches the one on your TV screen.
Playback stalls
Prefer a wired connection where possible, and check that no other device is saturating your bandwidth.
