Set Up IPTV on MAG / PC
MAG set-top boxes use a portal address, while PCs can use any player that supports M3U playlists or Xtream logins. This guide covers both.
What you need
- A MAG box connected to your TV and internet, or a Windows/Mac PC
- Your Strong 8K IPTV credentials from the delivery email
Step-by-step setup
MAG: open Settings
On the MAG box, go to Settings → Servers (or System Settings → Servers on older firmware).
MAG: add the portal
Enter the portal URL provided in your delivery email into the Portals section and save. Reboot the box if prompted.
PC: install a player
On a PC, install a player that supports M3U playlists or Xtream logins (for example MyIPTV Player on Windows or VLC with an M3U file).
PC: add your playlist or login
Open the playlist file or enter the Xtream credentials from your delivery email in the player, then load the channel list.
Configuration tips
On MAG boxes, portal order matters if you configure more than one portal. On PC players, you can usually save the playlist for quick access on future launches.
Troubleshooting
MAG shows portal offline
Confirm the portal URL is exact (protocol and port included), check the box's network settings, and reboot the box.
PC player shows no channels
Make sure the playlist/login is still valid and that the player supports the format you received.
Wrong time or region settings on MAG
Adjust time zone and locale in the MAG system settings; this can affect the TV guide display.
